Mens MH week

9-15th June

International Mens Health Week will be held from June 10th - 15th. This week is an opportunity to focus on Mens health and wellbeing, including both physical and mental health. This week is about encouraging communities to participate in activities and events during this week to foster a supportive mentally healthy environment. Given it generally falls during seeding in our region, we will be trying to find a suitable date for events in Cummins to suit our men!

This year Ally is holding a Mens Mental Health week afternoon tea at the Village on Friday 13th June at 1:30pm. We would love the support from as many community members as possible.

Dry July

1st - 31st July

Dry July invites individuals to abstain from alcohol for the month of July, boosting personal health and fundraising for cancer support. Originating in Australia, this challenge encourages reflection on drinking habits and discovery of tasty non-alcoholic options.

Participants often experience better sleep, more energy, and improved mental clarity. As friends and workplaces unite, they raise vital funds for cancer patients.

Whether for health or to support others, Dry July is a delightful chance to celebrate life sans booze. Cheers to staying dry!
